A ‘diwata’ is a Filipino term for a goddess and protector of the mountains. She is admired greatly for being a person of beauty, with love and care for nature. ‘Maria’ is the namesake of a famous mountain in the Philippines and the legendary woman to which the mountain was named. These two icons formed the name ‘Diwatang Maria’ living up to what the brand believes in—natural beauty from goodness.

At Diwatang Maria, we bring sustainable skincare solutions that are ethically made. Each soap is crafted with much gentleness and care for the ingredients through the cold-pressed method, which preserves the unique vitamins of each ingredient, making it more effective and skin-friendly. They are then manually put into molds and manually cut by our local soap makers. More than just skincare Every use of our soap brings the gift of glowing skin with respect to nature.

Our soaps can last for 5 years from the date of manufacture which is currently scripted inside of the box of the soap. However, like any other soap products, handling and storage factors may affect the quality and quantity of the soap.

Customers who seek our soaps have a wide range of skin type, from normal, oily to dry skin. We have 3 soap variants that we recommend depending on your skin type: Diwatang Maria Makiling is for acne and blemish-prone skin. Diwatang Maria Sinukuan is for sensitive and blemish-prone skin. Diwatang Maria Cacao is for dry and irritated skin.

We recommend Diwatang Maria Makiling, with Kojic papaya enzyme and aloe vera to get that fairer supple moisturized skin. We still encourage you to consult your doctor if you are unsure about which ingredients can be applied to your skin.

We recommend Diwatang Maria Cacao, which soothes irritation and itching. However, we would still encourage you to consult your doctor to know and understand better what soap ingredients can be used for your skin.

For acne-prone skin, we recommend the regular use of Diwatang Maria Makiling (our orange-colored soap) and Sinukuan (our white-colored soap) for very sensitive skin type. Diwatang Maria Makiling lightens uneven skin, fades dark spots, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing at the same time! Please consult your doctor if you are unsure about which ingredients can be applied to your skin.

Since it is all natural and plant-based, it is fine to be used on the face unless you have any open wounds, allergic or sensitive reaction to our soap's natural ingredients. As a matter of fact, we have customers who claim wonders on our soaps when used on the face!

Diwatang Maria Cacao is safe to be used by children ages 5 and above. Diwatang Maria Sinukuan and Makiling s safe to be used by children ages 7 and above.

It usually takes 3-5 within Metro Manila, and 5-7 days outside of Metro Manila upon placing your order, though in many cases, it could be less! If it will take longer due to quarantine restrictions, you will surely be notified.

Yes, we deliver internationally. We are building our presence overseas, but have already delivered to Singapore, UK, US, and the Bahamas.
